Take Hold

I want to ask you a question-do you feel like you are experiencing freedom and break through  in your life? I want to let you in on a little secret-we don’t have to suffer to suffer as children of King Jesus! Basically when we are born we are headed towards death-but not with Jesus. This life is full of sin, sickness, and just so much drama. There is always something it seems. Do you ever feel that way? Like you just can’t get ahead of it. Life  doesn’t seem very promising  sometimes does it? Like I mentioned before-the thing with Jesus is we don’t have to suffer to suffer. When we walk hand in hand with Him -He has this amazing ability to supernaturally trade our suffering for amazing benefits. He joins us in our suffering because He is well acquainted with it. Isaiah 53:3 says, “ He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised , and we esteemed Him not.”

I’ve learned that every hard thing in my life that has tried to entangle me and wear me down or worse yet sideline me-becomes a strength because of Jesus’ power working in the situation. He heals us so we can be about His Kingdom purposes-Jesus is always about others. The key is to let Him. Ask Him to come into your hurt because you can't heal on your own.

Jesus died on the cross to conquer sin and death so that we could walk supernaturally, empowered, and abundant lives marked by freedom. It’s kind of a big deal. He joins us in our pain and suffering. We are resurrected by His power every time we die to ourselves. He took on our suffering on the cross, but He also takes it on every time we go through suffering. He trades our ashes for beauty. In our hurt His hand is extended and just waiting for us to grab ahold of it. His specialty is restoration. Going to Jesus and surrendering it all is the perfect place to start.

I have experienced this first hand with Jesus. I’m currently writing a book on this very subject and I share a personal story of how Jesus grabbed ahold of my hand and walked me through-to the other side of grief. He gave me His presence and purpose from this unthinkable tragedy. His presence is so amazing and He brought me radical freedom in Him. When we allow Jesus to join us in our pain He brings forth supernatural purpose in our lives.  I can’t wait to share this book with you!
